Minners or Jigs, which works best in Summer time?

Did a little experiment here on Lake Palestine in August as to what works best. Minnows, Jigs or jigs with crappie nibbles. Results are pretty interesting.

I didn't watch the video as my ADHD is of such a nature I cant seem to do it .
but I did sit in between a bare jig guy and a minnow guy yesterday and I used a crappie nibble on a jig .
bare white jig kept up with me easily and minnows got bit as well .
minnow fish were all unders , he never boxed even one .
my bud with the bare jig and me put fish in the box .

jig guy primarily but somedays it's minnows when fish with a guy that's all he uses.

Doesn't really matter, so long as you remember the number one rule; 'To catch fish, you must first learn to FIND them.' Sorta like picking apples; gotta find an apple-bearing trees first; then it's easy. One would think live bait, being natural and having 'life force' about it, would be best. But, being able to cover more water faster with jigs and not losing fishing time baiting up, etc., seems to make up for it. Also, no buckets, no dead bait losses, no minner money every trip is all on the jig's side. Yesterday, it was 92 degrees and 103 equivilent. I FOUND the crappie (i.e., that apple-bearing tree). I tossed the Gray Ghost for one hour and had 40 fish to cull from (only wanted 10). Yeah, minnows would have caught them, too. But jigs are faster and cover more water faster.

On my attempts to decide which is better no matter which I fish first wins . Seems as though most large numbers of fish on a top will have a few active /aggressive fish . Thus each bait will win if fished first . jmo your thoughts ?

Probably right. That's how fishing goes.
