Don't under estimate South Bend, I've got 8 of their 12' Crappie Stalker spinning rods, had them doubled over in half and not break. I got these on special for $16.00 a piece including shipping. I use these with a mix of others for my spider rigging, had them about 4 years now, no complaints.
