What is a "coastal" interior? Is it carpeting or a Rhino type lining? Personally, I dislike carpets. Difficult to clean and their looks deteriorate quickly over time. I have had experience with the the paint-on Rhino type bed lining and it was great. I did not find it "noisy" and with that slip resistant finish, it worked out well for me and my guests. A breeze to keep clean and it was very durable. I'd recommend that you stay away from the glue-on vinal laminate type coverings. I've seen some high end boats with this material and you can never keep the edges from coming up! You asked, so.....JMO!
