    Default Crappie rods:

Look everywhere on here but couldn't find anything. I'm sure it has been discussed. I'm looking for advice on a jigging pole . Not the ones from academy but one with better components. Around the 100 dollar range 10, 11 foot 2 piece. Thanks for the help.

You don't have to spend THAT much for a good rod! Look at Grizzlyjig.com They are a sponser on here! Ozark, BnM, Jenko, Southern and many more are good!

B&M has several actions depending on how you fish, I use BGJP in 10 and 11, A Duck Commander double touch 10 that is a really good rod. Light sensitive and lots of backbone. I have Jenco rear seat 11 I really like. Also just got a Denali 11 ft mid seat that is light sensitive and plenty of backbone.. ACC crappie stir has some that are supposed to be really good then if your really wanting to horse fish to the boat Todd Huckabee rods are really good. That’s going to be your most expensive. My next purchase is going to be a Southern Crappie 11 midseat. Supposed to be tough as nails, light and sensitive. Plus you can buy two for your budget. Everyone has their favorite so your still going to have to do your research and would be best if you could actually fish one.

Also like to add Thump City Crappie Rods. They are having new models coming out within couple of weeks.

Dang $100 for a jig pole the options are wide open. I personally run an 10’ rear seat ACC and love it. Check out ACC, Todd Huckabee, H&H, BnM, or Jenko. Definitely more out there but those are just front of mind.

do you mean 100 dollar apiece or for the lot. if your willing to spend around 60 apiece a denali or a b&m tree thumper are my favorites. sam heaton super sensitive are good but i like a jig pole with a bit more backbone than the heatons. im partial to a rear seated rod.

Not a thing wrong with the Bucks B&M jiggy pole from Academy. But there are some really good rods mentioned above. I am a fan of the Duck Commander double touch by B&M. I can say personally the customer service from B&M and Mr. Crappie is going to be hard to beat.

I typed "jigging pole" in the search engine and got this:

Thanks for y'all advice. I like reel seat back. I bought 2 of the all Star 11 ft rods and right away the ceramic fell out of the eye. The other day I tried to lift a pound and a half crappie up and it just shattered. I'm starting to think I'm a little rough on my equipment.

Hard to beat a B n' M pole and it won't cost near that much. Probably around $50 - $60.00 from Grizzly Jig Co..
