But I’ve had great luck with my Berkeley Crappie Pro. 12 ft.
It’s super light weight
and does not have a “ whippy “ tip. While single pole jigging I want my tip to return back straight so I can follow the jig with no slack , this results in more hook ups.
This rod runs about $45

I personally like the BoneHead rods. Just switched to them and they are strong, but let's you feel the little bumps too.
