I was night fishing for crappie, which is my norm. I caught everything that night, but only kept the blue and a few crappie

I fish for crappie only at night with 3 old fashioned halogen floodlights on each side of my boat

do yourself a a favor a give LEDs a try. if you use a colored green or blue one above water to see floats and in the boat, it wont draw as many bugs. I know I know they are protein too. lol but pesky sometimes.

Why would I change what works best? I usually limit out every time I go whereas my friend can fish next to me in his boat with LEDS and barely catch a good mess in the amount of time. I have even switched places on the lake with him and I still out catch him 5 to 1 easily. Using the exact same tackle and bait

Nice fish Rob. Cmon down sometime and we’ll go get a dozen or so. Look in the panfish section when you get a minute.
