I am very envious, wish I had a similar set up.
Cane Pole, I remember several years ago, one of the winners of a Darwin Award(stupidest way to die) used a JATO, I thought it was spelled JADO. He strapped 2 of those to, I think, a 1964 Chevy Impala. He was going down one of those desert highways out west. He left the road with the brakes fully pushed in, with black marks like 1/8 of mile long and they just stopped and the officials found him squished high on a rock bluff. Car and all.

I've got a 22 ft bennington 4 point I picked up a few months ago ... I'm still waiting for millennium to make the square rail mount available so I can switch over my spyderloks (hint hint) like cwright. I really like the pontoon since I have two kids and the wife (potty comes in handy). Trolling motor up front, has a cheap finder currently but I'll put a Helix 7 DI on it I have lying around.. Shade, radio, room, 2 livewells, just makes it easier to fish sometime I also have a 12 v fan I bring if its hot. Cold they can bring a blanket and curl up on the bench while we fish.
If it's just me and one daughter or a buddy we take the bay boat out...

Orion if you pm Gene (on here as ez poleholder I think) he will probably make you the mounts like I had. They work great. Never have anything except spyderloks on my boats.
I would think the wind would cause more problems than anything. Fishing and loading on a trailer. I have problems holding a 20' glass Triton sometimes in the spring due to the wind.
Mine is an older boat late 70's just the kind I like (Paid For) ... I've bout got it set they way I want but still got a few more things to add like some light and things. Got the hard top + electric bimini top, privacy room. I pulled all the old furniture and gave me more seating room options I'm really found of my winter time fishing hatches that I put in the floor, just throw the Ice Hut on board and were ready to go all year. The only negative for my particular boat is it's a little slow top speed on a good day is 15-17 but it's pushing a 28 footer so if I ever upgrade the engine it would take care of that.

Mine had the platform out front like yours but I bought railings so my poles would be closer to the front
fishing hatches in the floor. What a unique idea. I could only one in the floor of mine, it is only a 20 fter. Electric bimini top? I'm jealous. My top is worn, I was thinking about replacing it with 1/2 enclosure. Now maybe I need to think electric since it will fold part way back and provide a sun shield.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
I would if I lived on a lake. Under a canopy you'd stay cooler and you'd be up high so you could see good. Only con would be slower moving around and you couldn't lip the bass.
