If I'm fishing during the day I hunt for shady areas. For me, not the crappie. I also switch to fishing early mornings and at night, which I am about to do now.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

If your planning on chasing crappie I highly recommend Side Imaging, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.....

SI will show you more places to fish than any other type of sonar......

I prefer early and be done before it gets hot..... Those shady spots for the fisherman and the fish will for sure be appreciated in the next few months to come.....
