That would have been nice -- but it never happened for me ---- I Daddy owned 2 houses on a lake in Arkansas -- and a Store on the same Lake that rented Boats and sold bait and Tackle but we never fished together.. then I raised 3 Boys that would rather be Beaten than fish, Have no Grandchildren.. Daddy always gave us Boys the Chance to fish and set out Trot lines and have Boats that we could Paddle all we wanted to ... That will keep Boys out of trouble and you always know where you can find them... Fishing Builds Character..

Me, my brother, my Father and his Father at Santee Cooper in SC in the mid 1970’s. 2+lb Crappie were commonplace back then . I do miss him.

Lost my Dad last November. It’s just now, almost daily, that I think of something I need to ask him, and realize we’ve had our last conversation on this earth. Man I miss him!

This is an old photo of me and my father. Not a day goes by I don’t think about him or miss him. I sure do wish he could have seen some of my tied jigs. I think he would enjoy that especially the ones I tied recently. They were his colors. Happy Fathers Day!

My dad was a cat fishing man. He took the time with me to teach me the joy and the love of fishing. I miss my father but I will see him again when I get to heaven.
