Lost Jig

cheaper hooks tend to do it , I have lost quite a few on this kind of thing .
sometimes you can crimp them closed but to be sure the higher end hooks tend to have less issues .

im always adjusting my line tie hold on jig so jig hangs horizontal. every bump n missed fish or slight snag in cover ill check it when it comes up. I don't think my 10# line would even fit threw the eye gap though.

if its a huge problem id say pinch them in a vise or super glue like you said.
