    Default Another Nibbles Question

I was in WalMart today and so I looked for some Nibbles. I found Power Bait in Chartreuse. After reading some articles here about Nibbles, I was looking for a Chartreuse/Glitter, but didn’t find them. So I got Chartreuse. Then, later, on another aisle, I found Crappie Magnet Slab Bites and they are silver/glitter. I have not seen that brand of Nibbles mentioned at all, but I bought a bottle of them also. Hope I didn’t waste my money. Have any of you guys ever used them.

    Thanks

    GF

I use the slab bites almost exclusively. Only complaint is wading through the small catfish that seem to love them.

I have used a couple different brands of nibbles or paste. all seem to smell similar and work the same. I don't just put them on the hook though. I get a lot more mileage from smearing a bit of them behind the jig head, or the lip of crank baits n stuff. don't take much to leave sent trail. some days that's all it takes to get them to commit. I also use them for all kinds of fish. not just crappie. wouldn't troll for trout without some seared on my cranks these days.

The Crappie Magnets don’t seem to hold as well as do the Berkeley or the other brand, can’t think of what their name is. Maybe MagicBait nibbles??
