FWIW: although Buck is famous for Spoonplugging, Larry Dahlberg once said that Buck's favorite thing in the world was fly fishing for white bass. Go figure.

I have recently become addicted to white bass fishing. It's about 100 miles to the closest I have found but worth every inch. I must try fly fishing for them. Currently I am figuring them out on ultralight gear.

The Sunfishes by Jack Ellis. Great book about fly fishing for bream written by someone who loves both. I bet I've read this book a dozen times.

Piscatorial Absurdities by Joe Robinson. Fly fisherman writes about ultra light spinning and does an excellent job.

Serious Flyfishing by John Waite. One man's opinions on how to fly fish. They're very good opinions.

Backcountry Fly Fishing in Saltwater by Doug Swisher. Title says it all, written by a master.

American Coarse Angling by Brook Landis. Fly fisherman discovers European coarse methods work great for American fish.

Fishing for Buffalo by Rob Buffler and Tom Dickson. Fishing for carp, suckers, buffalo and other "trash" fish is fun.

I found 2 of "The Sunfishes". One from 1993 and one from 1995. Do you know which one you have?

Piscatorial Absurdities I could not locate for sale. Any ideas?
