    Default Thiefs

What do you guys think of someone taking your rod holders out of you boat while you gone to get pickup to load . He took them out of locker that had my life jackets left them.

someone siphons about 6 to 8 gallons of gas out of my friends boat in his slip once in a while . it scares me to think that they would be so bold over such little gain .
I get mad about it when I hear about this kind of trash and to be sure they take his minnows and his fish out of his basket sometimes as well .
it is an evil world these days with a terribly high number of humans that are not good humans .

How about young folks that think they are freeing Willy when they dump 600 minnows out of your bait containers. Would like to know who they are so I could discuss respect with their parents.

Vigilance and “watching your six” is the best preventative measures one can take, in these times, where all criminals are looking for unprotected, unaware soft targets.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Walking into my local Bass Pro the other day. As I was getting close a truck passed and stopped for a car, I looked in the back of the truck bed and saw a 6' long bolt cutter, You think they were trolling for a boat rig?? There has been whole rigs with the vehicals stolen there. I told the BPS people, I did not get a tag #, it was unreadable. I did get color and name of truck.

I hate to hear this, the thiefs see nice stuff and think the victim is better off than me, not realizing how long it takes most of us fisherman to buy everything we need. I had two dirtbikes stolen, which USAA didnt cover as those need separate insurance than the insurance on the storage unit they were in. I still dont have anymore as replacing them was financially out of the question as an example. I fear so much something else getting stolen that I will not be able to replace.

There is a very easy solution to this problem if you catch a thief. You drop the hammer on them. Dead men will never steal again. If a man is willing to steal from you, then he thinks you owe him something and you or your life means nothing to him.
