Drop them a 1/64 hair jig and then a minnow. If neither works pull up and move. Been there done that.

I agree with the folks saying to downsize. Richard Gene says to downsize when the bite slows. It’s been working well for me lately. Even more than I would have thought. Also, I went to a crappie fishing seminar at Cabela’s and the pro giving the talk swore by white chroma-glow crappie nibbles. I’ve been experimenting with them on the slow bite and it seems to make all the difference. At least that’s been my experience lately. I’m definitely not an expert, but this has helped me fill the live well several times lately.

White chroma glow? Not chartreuse? interesting. will have to try those.
I did see Richard Gene suggest that and I do have some so will have to give that a go. Problem on my lake isn't lack of a bite which has been insane but finding any structure holding fish worth keeping.
When you guys say downsize, how small are we talking? I tried a very small trout hair jig, with a tiny bullet weight, but getting it down to 20ft with river current was tough. I dont even own a minnow bucket, guess its time to get one.
So, I’ve been using a 1/120 jig with a couple of split shots about 12 inches above it to get it down in current. Plus the split shots make it easier to see on live scope. As for the chroma-glow white, I just tried what the pro at Cabela’s said. He stated that there was something unique about the chroma-glow formula over the standard nibbles. I have noticed sometimes the crappie don’t hit it right away. It’s almost like they are waiting for the nibble to start to dissolve and put out a scent in the water. I would like to do some more experimenting against the other standard nibbles that I have when I get time. Due to work schedule, I probably won’t be back on the water for a couple of weeks though. I would be curious to see if anyone else gives it a try and how it does.

One factor that they might be full.. The Moon Phase -- I just checked the Calendar and It is at 1/4 after the full Moon--- that brings the moon up about 3 AM and overhead enough for them to feed before the sun comes up
Downsize? Guess I need to find some of those 1/120 jigs as I already prefer to use 1/64 jigs with split shot. When I go to a larger jig I never go larger than 1/16.
I wish I could find one of the old crank telephones. They work much better than a throw net for catching crappie that refuse to play.
