Right handed, left side. I prefer to have my rod in my dominant hand so I have more control.

This is one reason why Slab did this website so we could discuss important things like this.

Right handed handle on left mainly because I use my right hand to cast, and once the jig hits the water I am able to close the bail and start reeling quickly without changing hands. When bass fishing a lot of strikes come soon after the lure hits the water, why would I want to fumble around changing hands and miss setting the hook?

Right handed, left side for me too. My dad gave me his Quick 220N when I was a kid. I don't recall if you could switch the handle to the other side or not. Anyway, I learned to use it that way. I also had problems with my right elbow once and had to switch to left handed bait cast for awhile. It wasn't that hard.
Right handed - cast right handed ...
Close the bail with my left hand - never with the handle ...
Reel left handed ...
Do not own a baitcaster ... tried 'em for every application - don't like 'em ...

I shoot docks 90% of the time and just works best for quick engagement of bell.
living life to its fullest, This is not a dressed rehearsal.
Whatever floats your boat. But I’m right and handle on left. Also there’s a reason most all you buy come that way already. Majority of folks are right handed.
