Default What is the best scale to weigh crappie/panfish?

I've got a Rapala and a Berkley model but I don't think either is too good. The Berkley was actually decent but it quit two years ago. The Rapala, I was never impressed with.

If I'm willing to spend $100, is that enough money to buy a quality fish weigh scale?? Thoughts appreciated!!

Buy a scale used to weigh illegal drugs. If they are not accurate somebody dies!

The portable postal scale would be one of the most accurate for the money. Most have resolution down to 0.2 oz. If a lot of water dripping is involved, I'd cover it with a thin clear sheet of plastic when weighing fish. I used a small basket to put the fish in. I tared out the weight of the basket, then weighed the fish(s) and basket.

I have one of these. It seems to be very accurate and does not vary when weighing the same fish or item multiple times.
The actual brand of the scale is Salter- Brecknell and is available on Amazon or eBay.
Thanks Slabprowler thanked you for this post
