Default Williams Craft vs Progator vs Tide Craft

Hey everybody. Looking for a new boat. I want a stick steer. I can get any of these similar boats for a similar price...... Any opinions out there? Pros? Cons? Kinda leaning towards the Progator.. Also found a used Cobra stick steer?? Thanks in advance for any help.

I would throw the Royal Stick steer in the mix. Some fine boats they are.

Only seen progator in pictures but looks like a well built boat, only had my hands on one cobra and it was not much of a boat. Single layer hull and really thin. I have a 754VS wareagle and love it. Depends on what your looking for in a boat and are you looking new or used. In glass that Royal HS posted about is about as nice as it gets in glass. What part of the country are you in and what kind of waters you normally fish?

Take a look at Wareagle....SeaArk....and Polarcraft....all three have well made stick steers.

Here's my progator 156S. Very well built boat. I know the folks in Benton, LA that made mine. If you want an aluminum hull, go with the war eagle. PG has 10-year hull warranty. All are double-hull. If you get a PG, make sure you get the wireless troll motor with hand-held controller. Name: Boat.jpg

I’m in SE North Carolina. Fishing brackish and freshwater creeks. I’ve looked into the Royal boats but they’re more money than I’m willing to pay. But thank you for the recommendation.

That’s a good looking rig! Have you ever been in much chop and wind with it? Pretty dry ride?

It can ride a bit rough, and yes you get some spray. If I ever get another boat, I will most likely go with an aluminum boat with a deck. This one is on the same price line as the Royal. I especially like mine 'cause it's PAID FOR! I got a 60HP E-tec on it. Great for crappie/pan fish. Not so much for bass fishin'. If I was living where you are, I'd be getting me a bay/flats boat.

I meant to ask “how do you like your E-Tec 60?” Dang this auto spell on iPhones!
