So sorry to hear that Abby has passed. No more pain, only fields to frolic in. It always saddens our hearts when we loose a dear and special friend, whether two or four legged. By the pictures you've posted, Abby was a very special family member. We lost two not long ago, and having another soon helps mend the heart. You never forget them, as they are each special, but it helps when their is another or two or three around. We are praying for you and your family Slab. So sorry for your loss Slab. I always enjoyed seeing her pics. They brought back some great childhood memories for me. My grandparents raised Boston Terriers for years and always had at least one in the house. They are a sweet, loving, and loyal breed for sure. Will include you and the family in prayer tonight.

I'm really sorry to hear about Abbey. It stinks to lose a friend you've had around for so long. We recently had to have our 17 year old Yorkie put to sleep.

    A Dog's Prayer

Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

Sorry for the loss of Abbey as I feel your pain. We lost our beloved Abbey 2yrs ago. A beautiful Blue Healer. She was my best friend. When I started our Kawasaki Mule she would always come running and sit beside me just like a person. About 2 wks after her passing, I was at the local flea market and saw a guy with a beautiful Blue Healer and very smart. The conversation started. While I was talking to him, he got a text message. He said this is to freaky. I been waiting on some minature Blue Healers for over a yr. from a guy down in Alabama and that was the guy saying he would have some ready in 3wks. After a few pictures ect, we drove 800 miles in one day and picked up 3. We have a sign in our house that says. MY GOAL IN LIFE IS TO BE THE KIND OF PERSON MY DOG THINKS I AM. Good Luck.
