As has been said, the best time of the day for me is any time I'm there fishing.

Just being on the water fishing is enough to satisfy me. Fishing with friends makes it even more enjoyable. I seldom keep more than five crappie and that only a couple of times a week so it's usually not hard to catch enough to eat.

I find this to be true. I have had good fishing at all times of the day and at night under the lights. The key for me during the day has been to find dark shady areas that are not getting a lot of light. The darkest part of a boat slip, under a pontoon, etc. On the lake I seek out shady banks, trees or brush that over hangs the water, under docks or around tree roots that are in the water. I also have had luck fishing deeper water around structure during the day.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

Depends on how you like to fish! Early mornings, evenings, and nighttime they will be out roaming for food. During the day they go in structure. If you are a structure fisherman, youll love mid day fishing. If you like fishing open water areas, low light times are for you.
