    Default Casting bubble

Has anyone used a casting bubble to throw a light crankbait? If so, did it work well. I have only used with jigs.

I have only used a bubble with flies. Not sure why you'd use with something as big as a crankbait.

Lighter line and sometimes I add a lead weight about 18" from the lure.

Yes, all logical answers. Long story short... I will be using on 1 rod for about 2-3 hrs tops. Then probably never again. So I didn't want to make it an ordeal with changing line etc. Just saw the bubbles in the tackle box and I wondered if anybody has done it.

Buy one and give I a try. Worst thing can happen is a line tangle.

Lead weight, split shot. Easy on, easy off when done.

That's going to be my first attempt so i can get a real life answer. Then I will try a small sinker held by a split shot for comparison. I might have a new way to use small cranks Casting bubble
