Default New Boat Opinions Vexus or Nitro Z19

Looking a buying a new boat. I've looked at the new Vexus boats. The AVX2080 with a 200HP Merc runs 45k with an Ultrex and no Electronics. On the other hand I can buy a new Nitro Z19 Pro with same motor and trolling motor for 4000 less. It would also come with two Humminbirds on it. The fit and finish on the Vexus seems nicer than the Nitro in my opinion but at the end of the day it's an aluminum boat. I have attached some pictures of the Vexus. What's everyone's thoughts on which direction I should go?Name: 20190323_111208.jpeg

Vexus although a new boat is popular because of the history of the new company coming from Ranger. Biggest complaing I am hearing on forums seems to be about a painted surface rather than a gelcoat surface. For that little difference in money I would probably go the Vexus as I feel sure down the road the Vexus because of heritage will retain resale value better.

I have a fishing buddy that bought a Vexus 1980 with an Evinrude 150hp. He loaded it up with dual Powerpoles, hydraulic jack plate, and all new Garmin electronics. I haven't fished in it yet since he went to Okechobee for the winter as soon as he got it but he's been really happy with it so far. I have been in an 1880 and a 1980 and there the best riding aluminum boat I've ever been in. I have a 2015 Triton 18TX with a 115 Mercury 4 stroke and I'd love to have the Vexus if I was in a position to upgrade.

Vexus all the way. Not at all impressed with the Nitro boats.

I bought a new to me, 2016 Z18, a few months ago. I'm satisfied with it up to this point. No real complaints. In the past I have owned a skeeter and a stratos.

Those Nitros sure have some big decks. Have not seen a Vexus in person.

Financing it out for 15 years? Goodness. That stresses me out just thinking about it.

That's a 6.49 rate for 15 years. It makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. They wouldn't offer it if people weren't doing it.
