I’m using a fully rigged 1648 g3 jon boat that has a approx weight with me in it at 1000 lbs using a 55 amp MK power v2 12 v. Trolling motor and run the speed setting at 5-6. I also am using lithium batteries so I do get constant way better voltage to the motor with no loss of power to the motor in a full day of trolling. I run a HB 10 MDI g3n and 12:MDI G4N on the front with a mega 360 and a 9 MSI g2n on the back. 25 Yamaha on the back mounted in a trim/tilt plate and 100 amp lithium in back for motor and electronics also.,

Great post and thanks to all for sharing advice. I just learned that I’m too slow and too light when pushing cranks. Thanks
