    Default Full moon?

Does anybody ever notice that the fish don't bite as well during the day while a moon is coming full? I've been fishing this place that is full of crappie pretty hard during the day time and struggling to catch one or two. But I was talking to my friend and he is having the same problem and he said he thought they were feeding at night and resting during the daytime because of the moon. So i went yesterday evening and as soon as the sun went down I started catching fish as fast as I could get them in the boat, I caught 17 and by about 9 pm the moon was up good over the water and it's like they just shut down and stopped biting again. I'm just wondering does anybody else notice this during a full moon phase? Thanks guys

Over the years I have fished in the afternoon during the full moon periods. Just seems that the fish are a bit more active during these periods than in the morning...I have tried to fish them in the mornings and just found that over the years, afternoon and early evening seem to be better...

Moon doesn’t bother the fish in my area. Just have to find them. They will bite.

I've never really paid attention to the moon phase, but a friend of mine has the panoptix livescope and he's also been fishing the same area as me and has had no luck getting them to bite during the daytime, I've been fishing this spot for almost 3 weeks and maybe catch one or two during the day. But i went yesterday evening/last night and caught more than I ever have at one time there. So it got me to wondering if it maybe had something to do with the moon phase and if anybody else ever noticed it

I've only noticed a lesser chance of the fish biting all that good when the Moon is up during the day, full or not. Otherwise I haven't noticed or kept records of any particular time of the day being better/worse during a Full Moon period. I just go when I can get things together and the weather & lake conditions are suitable to me.

I have a friend that is a crappie guide--he will not take customers the day before, day of, and day after a full moon. He is a 100% believer the moon hurts the daytime bite.

On the lake I mainly fish the full moon shuts them off at night, it is a very clear lake so that is what we have found over the last 20 years. Mainly smalls bite regularly anytime

I do not get nearly as excited to fish on full moon as the other phases. Still go and enjoy the day, just dont have high expectations when heading out.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
