Update:
Kidneys failed faster then expected. Thursday ended up in the ER then got admitted to the hospital. Have been here all weekend. Had to have surgery to put in a emergency dialysis port so I could start dialysis. Still not thru the woods my kidneys will not stop bleeding. Feel very weird for sharing but still looking for a kidney and now more then ever. (0+ is my blood type)
As some of you may or may not know, I have Polycystic Kidney Disease, also known as PKD. It is a kidney disease, I’ve had it since I was in 5th grade. It has caused me a little pain over the years but has never been a really big deal. But now I’m to the point that soon I will have to start dialysis because my kidneys are so close to failure. I have been trying to get on a transplant list for the last 6 months and have finally got on it as of Friday. They have recommend that I look for a donor because it could take years to move up on the list and get a kidney. I have been delaying doing this because it’s hard to ask someone for a organ. If anyone is interested to see if they could be a match for me please let me know. I can get you a number to call to start the process or to even just get some info on it to see what is in store for you as a donor.
He is in the hospital in St Louis now, one of his kidneys are bleeding and they are going to take it out or both!
