    Nice fish!

In the large reservoirs Kanas fish a game tends to stock white crappie. The smaller lakes they stock black crappie. One argument states the black crappie are not as prolific as white crappie. White crappie can easily over populate smaller bodies of water. Just a personal observation. It appears black crappie have a slower growth rate than white crappie. I like to catch both. Its nice to go to a smaller lake knowing you will mostly catch black crappie.

Here in central California blacks dominate like 10:1 no matter which waterway. I used to catch a lot more whites than I do now. Anyhow whites are still present everywhere just not as prolific. Whites here like very murky waters.
