Default Buying my first trolling motor, need battery advice

So I have a hookup with East Penn batteries. The regional manager is hooking me up with a factory second and asked what size and all that.

Tje trolling motor I'm going to buy is a Minn Kota 55lb thrust and going on a Tracker 1436 jon boat.

What size, amp hours, CCA, all that would be good for that trolling motor?

Yeah, I wouldn't go lower than that with the East Penn (DEKA Marine Master) battery : here's the specs on their Group 31 DC31DT ...

    650 CCA
    800 MCA
    Weight - 60lbs
    Size - 13x6.75x9.5 (L-W-H in inches)
    Warranty 12mo free

They also have "glass mat separators" ... and the fine print reads : " Deduct 15% from CCA and CA rating to allow for double insulation (glass mat)"

^^ What the above said. ^^

Biggest you can afford, and have room for. Make sure you get an appropriate sized charger.
