CrappieDreamer, what are you using for a pressure regulator or on/off valve? That was the hardest part of the build for me. I ended up having to sweat two brass fittings together. Cost too much too

Those are SMC brand pneumatic flow controls, left over from a project at work. Same with the push lock fittings and tubing.

My setup. Vibrating table with 2 inch pvc endcap to hold pee cups. I change colors fast by just swapping pee cups. The motor speed is adjustable so you can set the shake tempo. Heat is my paint stripper heat gun. This is as simple as it gets. Works terrrrrific. Don’t take up much room. Stows in a box when not in use. My space is limited.Name: IMG_0375.jpg

I'd like to run across one of those vibrating bases at a lab auction.

Thanks for the pics everybody. So I just started tying, but I painted some jig heads this weekend. I just used the container the paint came in. I shake it up real good before using it. Are the fluid beds really necessary?

crappie shooter turn your air all the way back - slowly open your valve while stirring the paint

if it still does it - you probably have a leak in the membrane

Daddy & Luke - you really don't need a fluid bed unless you're doing a lot of jigs or big jigs. Most of the jigs I do now are 1/24th or less so it's easier to fluff & stuff the solid colors. I prefer painting with brushes because you can add more colors.

Try shaking up your paint mine did the same thing it was caused by paint packing down. And that was the easiest place for air to travel threw. Also as you use it keep it stirred up that will help also good luck.
