    Default Water temperature

when water temps are in the mid 40’s is it better to target structure such as trees rocks etc or transition points where water depth change drastically (say from 15-30 ft water changes).

Our water temp in North OK was 39 to 40 today. Mostly cloudy with intermittent sun. Ice in the backs of coves. We strolled 0.3 mph along steep rock banks in 16-18 FOW, catching them at 12. No bait, no bite. No brush piles produced today.

The bait we saw today was mostly around 15FOW no structure trolling at .5 mph but no luck course we had no luck fishing structure either. The weather here has been like yo-yo hopefully water temps get stable at upper 40’s soon to produce better bite. I have a tournament next Saturday and not feeling good about our pre-fish results, just trying to get an edge on the competition.
