I love slab sauce and use it, but I do not like the pump bottle at all for applying it directly to jigs. Maybe I'll try squirting some into the cap as posted earlier, but that is messy.

I'd prefer a squeeze bottle with a twist-valve top, like a small Elmer's glue bottle, instead of the pump. No cap to lose, no waste, easy to dab on a little without hitting your pants with an errant squirt!

Just ordered the pro pack and spray bottle of the garlic. Does pro pack only come in original flavor ? Figured I could just spray in some garlic to the original if not. Been wanting to try it out from all the good words about it on here. Can’t wait to try it.

Does it freeze in cold temps? Just ordered some for ice fishing and wondered if I’ll have to bring it indoors after every trip out. Hope my order came thru.

Chaunc, I keep mine in my ice fishing bibs in the house between trips. Haven't had it out in bitter cold yet but it didn't freeze on the 20 degrees days I've been out this year.

Pro-Pack only comes in the original for now. Gearing up to do the Garlic too but it'll be a bit.

And with the Pro-Pack bottles, you can:

    • fill the jar it comes with for dipping,
    • or you can refill the spray bottles,
    • or you can apply it directly (it's a flip top bottle with small hole on top, might be just what you're wanting jawjatek).

And nope, it won't freeze. One caveat though, it's not been tested in super duper cold weather that's on it way in. I guess we'll see. Let us know you Michiganders!

We call it a SLABSAUCE Pro-Pack. Two, 2oz plastic bottles, and a DIPPING JAR. Squirt 1 ounce of SLABSAUCE into the dipping jar, and dip your jigs into it. You also get a Slabsauce Fish Towel. Slabsauce Pro-Pack I can't ship till Wednesday (I'm awaiting labels), but you can pre-order now.

And the first half dozen that order (and include their member name in the "comments") will get a custom jar holder. ALL GONE- SORRY

I made these fish shaped ones myself.

It's simple, it has a hole for the jar, and hangs off the side of the boat using any clamp. Anyone can make'em. It's off the side of the boat so you don't drip SLABSAUCE on your boat.

I even have a square one I was testing with hanging off the swing by our canal I use. Works great. You can open and close the jar with one hand, and dip the jig without touching the SLABSAUCE at all. Neat and clean. Everyone that's seen this system in use has loved it.
Darn. I ordered the second I saw this but the personalized containers are already gone. Reckon I should have looked at Crappie.com earlier (smile).
