    Default RTD

Bought one Friday at Grizzly's. Read instructions. Bobbin broke before I got first rod threaded. I thought probably my fault, because sometimes I mess things up. Next bobbin broke putting in the unit, per instructions. Is anybody else having any problems or is it just me?

I seen the video that was posted on fb I guess it's one of those things that you had to be their. I just couldn't grasp the twenty-five ($29) regular price for something like that, maybe if you were doing a dozen or more rods at the same time or you had to thread rods quite often.

When I first started making rods, I would put the thread in a shot glass and run the end through a phone book. Apply additional tension by adding weight on top. It’s crude but functional.
