    Default Winter crappie with marabou jigs


    Thought I'd try the double jig setup for ice fishing with a marabou jig vs. live minnow to see which one would catch more fish. Hope you enjoy!

    What kind of Garmin graph is that? Is it a side image?

    This is the Garmin Panoptix Ice fishing kit. When you turn the panoptix transducer straight down, it give you a downvu that shows virtually unlimited left to right of the lake bottom. This is why i could see the school of fish from 20ft away.

    That panoptix is really interesting. Looks awesome. I fish with a Marcum LX-5i which I love but, that panoptix is showing so much more. I have also experienced that up bite a couple times this ice fishing season. I suddenly will see my jig moving up the water column when I didn't even move it and have to give an exaggerated lift on the rod to set the hook. Good video. Keep them coming.
