I'd opt for a 1/16 oz. ball head jig with an electric chicken colored Bobby Garland Baby Shad. (But I'd also sneak in a RR in my back pocket!)

(but, if I fished "all year round" it would probably be a 2.5" Fathead Minnow on a #2 Aberdeen hook )
