Thanks.....wanted one of these years ago but the Ego Slider I had was working OK. It’s 8 years old now and the slide sometimes sticks....I’ve patched the basket several times but it was time for a new one. Not only handy on the boat but some of the bank spots I fish it will be very useful.

    Regards

Alpha hawk recommended the Japanese net. I felt comfortable with his recommendation so ordered one. I am sure glad I did. It appears all that you see in the video. Now, I just have to catch a crappie to try it out. I will post the results shortly, I hope.

I got a long handle net at Academy Sports for river fishing. Sometimes the water is low. It retracts and is plenty long, it was $20.

I love my folding /telescoping Frabil net
It wasn’t cheap but works in my big boat or my kayak.
Has paid off on many 2lbcrappie to 20lb redfish
