I've done the jon boat total rebuild when I was younger. Now, it's easier to just find one ready to fish... I think.

Word of caution, if you are looking for a tracker in the North Country (Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin) don't be offended if we don't have anything nice to say.
Here, we look for deep v's and most consider tracker a very entry level boat. Not all, but most people you find up here with one are always looking for a better boat. NOTICE, I said MOST!
I was being polite so it was a nice way to tell you what many northerners think of them. As others have said, when looking north, try Lund, Alumacraft, Crestliner, Ranger, Warrior, etc...
