I too have the Pro Qualifier from Bass Pro and have been dry as a bone since I got it. I've only had this set for about 2-3 years but so far no problems at all. The wind block is great as stated in earlier post, and its cut loose enough for layering. Bass Pro had them on sale....I think they were discounted $50 on both the jacket and the bibs.

Actually if you want some good rainwear check out rain suits designed for adventure motorcycle riding.

You can at different times of the year catch good sales on models or styles from last years colors or lines. MS branded gear is pretty good and can be found on sale reasonable. Also the bike gear will have removable cold weather liners and zip open vents that you can open for a little air flow in warmer weather.

Most will come with soft armor in the elbows, shoulders and knees and so forth but that is removable.

Pro Qualifier for me as well. Between me, my buddies, and family, we own 4 sets of it. I didn't like the fit of the Cabelas gear or the 100mph suit.

I've fished in mine from 10 degrees up to 80 and never had an issue. It stays in my boat year round.

Pro Qualifier for me and the wife. We have had them over 5 years and they still work great.

I haven't found 2 cents worth of difference between the Pro Qualifier and 100 mph at bass pro plus pro qualifier has more pockets and a better zipper system in bibs for natures call.
The big difference berween the Pro Qualifier and the 100mph bibs is the Pro Quals is the Pro Quals have leg zippers to the waist. So easy to put on with your boots on.

Agree with all the above. Can order most online but for me trying them on is the way to go. I prefer the Cabelas guidewear fit. The Pro Qualis really good too. That Goretex is awesome stuff. It really is water and wind proof. If we can use it to reconstruct arteries in surgery and it doesnt leak, then it will keep out the rain. Suggest a little big for layering as previously suggested. Good luck with your choice. Let us all know what you think after your next fishing trip.

Forget "fishing" rated stuff. I have been a biker for decades. If you want rain gear that works, buy from a motorcycle shop. I love Frogg Togg stuff.

It keeps me dry on my Road King Classic at 70mph on the highway, it will keep you dry sitting in a boat.

Seems to be more dissatisfied people than I would have thought at the price of the bps pro qualifier set . Just makes me wonder why some praise /some swear the ability to keep you dry . Also would the liner be as good as wearing thermal clothing under neath during cold weather ? I have plenty of cold gear thermal wear from deer hunting . Do not want to buy liner if not needed .
