    There is no fish, or hundreds of fish, that is worth putting yourself in that position. The good Lord was looking out for them for sure! Bet they said their prayers that night....

    Can't imagine how terrified those guys were. What a freak thing to happen with a log rolling and winding them in. Sure glad they made it out. A couple of those guys were determine to stay with the boat. I would have followed the 1st guy out after seeing him being swept away from the overflow.

    It does make more sense that it was a mishap that caused their being so close to the dam.

    Low head dams are bad juju. I keep an assisted-opening knife on my PFD in case I have to cut a rope in a hurry with one hand. (legal with my GA concealed permit)
