Got a gift card for my birthday. Dose anybody know if cabela’s will honor a bps card since they’ve merged. They got an item I want bass pro doesn’t carry

Just called a Cabelas and if you shop at a store, either store will accept either card. If you shop online, need to call their customer service and exchange the card. And found this on line. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/together-faqs

Customers can exchange a Bass Pro Shops gift card to a Cabela's gift card for an equal amount and vice versa. Cabela's gift cards, e gift cards and gift certificates can be presented for payment at any Bass Pro Shops retail register location. Gift cards are also exchanged at the customer service counter in either store or by contacting our online customer service centers. To exchange a Cabela's gift card that you would like to use at Bass Pro Shops, call 1-800-211-6440 to have it exchanged. To exchange a Bass Pro Shops gift card that you would like to use at Cabela's, call 1-800-237-4444 to have it exchanged. We are working to improve this process moving forward

Funny, but you asked and other day I got a bass pro card as a gift, and was just curious by this post if I could use mine at cabelas if I wanted to. So I called one about 100 miles north of me I occasionally stop at when I am up that way. Guy at the store said it’s not difficult to exchange them if used online and then I googled it to see if he was wrong maybe. He was spot on with his answer.

That’s accurate info. I’ve swapped BPS gift cards at the service desk of Cabela’s and then used them with no problem.

it worked. i had to call and order by phone. there's not a way to do it online yet. just give the customer service person the info. it was no problem at all.
