    I have several shimano Sahara reels also pflueger presidents. My most recent shimano , my favorite now is the Nasci, have two of them now for two years and really like them.
    only issue I've had with the Sahara is when fishing in heavy rain for long period , get that grinding action. Stops the fishing. Have to take apart at home and add lube. Someone had mentioned plumbers grease and after that, no problems.

    Does the Shimano Nasci have lubrication ports.

    I used to be strictly shimano period. But I started using piscifun reels for a couple jig poles for ice fishing, that was enough, now that’s all I use is Piscifun500, for panfish, 1000 for bigger crappie, bass....
