Default What did it weigh ?

The magic question for so many anglers . Some sort of thing I don't get exactly and I suppose it has something to do with my less than competitive nature . Of course I suppose it has play in some spots and even importance if its about money and or a "win" . But it just isn't my thing to be concerned much about it much and being told ugly things from folks and or some form of jealousy kind of attitudes .
I prefer to rejoice and revel in the beauty of what many would consider a trophy and in many many cases release it if I can avoid termination of said creature . To kill for glory and or a paycheck just does not fit in my agenda and so I want to apologize up front for only taking a few time delay photos and a selfie of said critter and putting it back where it came from .
All that said if it matters much I did measure across my body where the fish was and from my right arm pit to my left arm in that exact position and the winning number is a bit over 18 inches when I got back to my truck , just to satisfy my own curiosity of course
On the more serious side , I have not seen a fish like that one in many years, the girth was beyond imagination . So in closing on this particular post I would say this about that ……

Real nice...Great feeling to let a big 'un swim away to bless someone else down the road. I personally feel one that big has earned the right to live another day. Good job Mr. Ketchn
