I should have known Cuz was up to something when he let me get that close to his thermos.

Vicki had ran down to Subway in the hospital food court and when she came back into the room, l was sitting up in my hospital bed with tears running down my cheeks having just read this post. I handed my phone to her and she soon had tears on her cheeks also. We both knew that had my Dad lived to see this, he would be extremely proud.

To say I’m honored by this would be a gross understatement. To stand with the past winners of this award, those who have been such mentors to me and thousands of other both beginners and experienced crappie anglers is the honor of my life-long fishing career.

My heartfelt thanks to
Ed and the Moderators who selected me for this honor.

I had part 2 of my back surgery this morning and hopefully will be going home tomorrow. My Mom is doing as well as we could expect after having lost her love of 63 years.
