Use floral pins, not the small ones but the bigger ones, find them in the floral department at WalMart.

Since storage space is at a premium in my kayak, I make up 3'-4' leaders with a swivel on one end and a snap on the other, then wrap the line around small pill bottles. There is just enough stretch in the fluorocarbon line that I can attach the open snap into the empty line tie on the other end of the leader. I can fit about 10 leaders on one bottle, then store extra snaps & swivels in the pill bottle. I write the pound test of the line on a piece of paper taped to the inside wall of the bottle. I can change leader length & strength in a flash.

*If I weren't reclined in an easy chair with my cat buddy curled up across my legs, I'd go take a picture. Maybe tomorrow.*

    Sounds like a great idea.

    Default Leader Sticks

Here is a leader stick I made for my buddy and I to have fast access to change leaders while pushing jigs. Each stick holds 8 rigs

Pick up a 1/2 inch dowel at any big box store and cut to length. We use 3 foot fluorocarbon leaders, loop on one end, jig on the other. This stick keeps them straight and kink free. The ends also have caps that snap on to act as a keeper so the rubber bands don't get lost.

The ends are 3-D printed. If anyone wants the .stl files to print their own, just let me know and I'll post them.

    Tom

Leaders have jig on one end, loop knot on other.
Pool noodle with a slot maybe??
    Tuck loop in slot?
    How do you do it?

I use this, it's velcro, and also comes with little velcro squares to help hold down leaders without hooks.

I keep mine in grocery freezer bags bc they zip up. The rigs that have a loop at one end I just put on a noodle that I push in some Sheetrock screws deep enough to get to the smooth part of the shank. I carry a bag of longline and a bag of tightline rigs.
