Sick in bed, while my friends are catching fish!

I have a bad case of the croup- really bad. I am talking antibiotics and pills and what ever to get back to fishing. My friends are out catching crappie, sending pictures & telling me how good the bite is. Of course, they are fishing my favorite spots and areas. Rubbing it in, and making me feel worse. Question- Do I need to find new friends??

I don’t. Think so. Reason is; your day will come. Just don’t be hardheaded like yours truly and truly be batter before you go out and regress into immobility. My TN winter fishing came with some hard lessons. Pneumonia hit me hard once, 5 1/2 weeks before I felt better and my resistance was weak for at least 3 years after. Be smart.

Thanks folks, I feel better already. All my fishing buddies called and wished me a quick recovery and tell me that they were on the lake and needed my favorite jig colors for my spots! LOL

Take two tablespoons of slabsauce twice daily as needed... and I'm sure you'll be back on the water and talkin' junk quicker than you ever thought possible... even though you might have a weird taste in your mouth for a while.
All joking aside though: Wishing you a quick recovery from the severe croup. It's a bad time of the year to shake this sort of thing... and skeet is right... don't let it fool you into doing anything that might make it worse. I say this because, I too had a bout with pneumonia a while back and had to be hospitalized to prevent it from getting any more dangerous.
