    I tie them onto skinny hollow drink stirrers. Then just slide my line through the stirrer and slide the stop off onto the line. During the winter i will make around 50 while watching tv.

    I use the rubber stops (like the one you mentioned) more often than the yarn or mono slips. In my experience the yarn/mono stops slide through the eyelits better when casting longer distances, but the rubber stops stay at the depth you set more so than yarn/mono. I don't know if there is a fool proof way to stop the slips from sliding while casting, especially long distances

    i had a guy tell me when you pull the 2 strands tight put a dab of super glue on the knot then cut them about 1/2 in long. it should hold.
