have to respectfully disagree about deer and crappie don't mix. where I hunt I can be hunting for a few hours and then when my crew gets back to house for lunch and naps I can slip over to T hill and dip me some crappie for dinner as that's the time of year when the Bite turns on bigtime and few fishermen are about.
