I really like to reading these comments. It is good to see him succeed and garner the respect the has received. About a year ago, on this board, one of our illustrious members stated that he did not know who Richard Gene was. That is completely understandable, however, his next remark amazed me. He said that he did not need anyone to teach him anything about crappie fishing!!! I've learned something with every one of his videos, if nothing else, just a greater appreciation for those times that I can do something "good for me".
I love Richard's videos. I watch them every time he puts out a new one. However, I have only started watching them in the past 6 months or so and haven't watched a lot of his earlier ones. My question is this: Is there actually somebody named Elmer in one of these videos or is it just some running gag?

Elmer or sometimes Elmo is Richards second personality.

That's funny. I hadn't thought of it that way. I did see a video recently where Elmer and some beer bellied shirtless guy went bass fishing. I could tell it was Richard playing the part of Elmo but still didn't quite get it. It was a very funny tongue in cheek video.

"Elmo" is his imaginary friend, I think. "Elmo" always comes at the last minute of the video with the "it's good fer ya"! However, sometimes he comes in at the beginning! You never know about Richard!:Rofl
what is refreshing about his channel is how he can use very basic graphs and equipment and out fish many people.
I don’t use none of that fancy electronics. I just can’t afford them....:Rofl
Super Dave336, I guarantee you that A. K. Best doesn't either!!!
