Though they were not touted as "Crappie Camps" .... I was running "Prize only Tournaments" (no entry/payout $$ ... just prizes & a fish fry) twice a year, known as the Spring Fling & Fall Brawl on Watts Bar Lake in E. Tenn (2000-2005) in the name of Crappie.com ... and have revived the Spring Fling gathering, over the last several years, right here in KY at Green River Lake. Recent years we've had upwards of 60-70 attendees to this event. We changed it from a "tournament" format (prizes awarded per place by weight) to a "ticket draw" format (goodie bags for all attendees, then major prizes given away by blind draw).

Got to meet Slab, Billbob and "D" this year at Michigan spring camp. All great guys. Billbob taught us how to hold a fish so it looks big, even if it isn't and demonstrated his style of smooth around the ladies. All good information.

Heading down to D'arbonne camp in a couple of weeks to see how they do it southern style.

South Carolina does not have a camp per say but we do have a spring fling held on lake Wylie in the spring for NC and SC members. We will have a fishing tournament and meal and lots of prices rose be given away.
