Default Saint Mary's River Crappie fishing

Went to the Saint Mary's River yesterday to do some redbreast fishing, they were not biting at all. We had a high pressure system moving in with bluebird skies. The river was beautiful and water temp was 75 degrees. I decided to do some trolling to see if the crappies had started biting yet. It's still a little early in the year for them here. The first fish I caught was a nice warmouth "great eating fish". Me and my son did wind up catching around 20, we kept 12. A good mess to eat. not a lot of big ones, but good eating size. This river borders Florida and Georgia. Can't wait until the big crappies start moving in.

    Nice catch and post.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
