    Default the Mighty Casey

    STRIKES OUT !
    I saw the signs …
    everywhere I went ….
there was subtle smell in the air
    I knew it was a skunk …
    I even saw its trax
but none the less I pitched a few spots
one spot was up about 12 foot or so since my last visit
the other about 6 to 8 before it ran over its top
got one peck shallow and that's the way it went ….
    so never say never
and even if you know the spots very well
there is a day sooner or later you wont
I have never seen any of the 3 I hit that deep in water
and so it begins ...learning it all over again

It happens to the best Ketchn, Really enjoyed the pic.'s though. I guess even the wild life is put off by all the rain you all got down that way as one could tell by the nasty air that skunk made... just be glad you two weren't in the same place at the same time...results would really be disasterous.

I admire you for even trying in water that high!

Win some lose some. The fish won today looks like. That's what makes fishing so much fun.
Be safe and good luck fishing

am so super busy these days …
I have to wet a jig when and where I get a chance ….Friday wasn't good but I did manage a few crappie at a different spot
they was 12.5 feet deep in 12 feet of water …..lol ..parked tight to the bottom like super glue and not aggressive
hopefully I will find a bite or 2 today or tomorrow ….
going 3 to 4 days between a chance to and a ketchn of some crappie aint a good thing at all

At least you only have 3 to 4 days in-between fishing excursions. Some of us it's a lot longer....good luck kitchen when you can go...
