The Ketchn's Karrot is a favorite combo of mine in muddy water. For those who don't know it's hot orange body with a chartreuse tail. Killer!

1/16 Chart. jig head, black kip tail hair fly tipped with minnow works well here in muddy water. No minnow, no problem, spray liberally with Slab Sauce. Present bait super close to structure or darn near on the bottom or steep bank.
