Ordered some Carhartt Shoreline Edition Bibs and Jacket, got them for a whopping $111.00 (total) shipped on clearance, thanks Cray for the help! Quality too be seen next week when I get em', but most the Carhartt stuff I own is very good.
Cold weather like now, I use cabelas MTO50 quiet pack gortex camo rain wear that I also hunt out of, and warmer weather Huks from bass pro.

I have the frogg toggs and have been happy.
I fished two seasons out the frogg toggs from Walmart. Now I use an umbrella with a water repellent jacket.

Snubby, I wanted to bump this back to the top. How have you liked your Carhartt’s? I’m finally going to break down and spend the money on a good set I guess, and I’ve looked at the Carhartt as an option. Their new Angler series looks good too.

Are you referring to Stryker Climate. I wear these bibs with a frogg togg pilot jacket. Most of the rainy weather I push or pull jigs so I also sit under an umbrella. I have put the Bibbs through some pretty extreme temps but not a lot of rain. I would say it lowered my comfort range by 15 degrees. The Climate has removable insulation so I plan on using them through the spring.

Ha , I do not fish in the rain or cold . But I do have a cheap rain suit frog toggs.RR
I’m really thinking hard on the new Carhartt Angler stuff. I’m between it and the Bass Pro (either pro qualifier or 100 mph) stuff. I know the bass pro stuff is Gore Tex, but could save over $100 with the Carhartt. Such a tough decision.

Well I thought they would be fine for here in Florida, so I sent for the more expensive set they refer to as some kind of skins.
When I got them in the mail I instantly disliked them and sent them back.
I think trying these things on first is very important as a result of this experience.
I only need and want rain protection, not warmth, and as a rule we don't have long periods of rain here, like all day.
I ended up at BPS and buying a set of Columbia brand.
